WAMPUM ROW MEDIA, LLC
Privacy policy
Effective September 14, 2026
This policy explains how Wampum Row Media, LLC (“WRR,” “we,” or “us”) handles information through wampumrowradio.com and our independently developed Wampum Row Radio app features that link to this policy. Listening does not require a listener account. Our existing Live365-built app and Live365’s services may also present their own privacy notices; this page does not change their settings or practices.
Information we handle and why
Listening and browsing
Our hosting and streaming providers receive technical information needed to deliver their services, such as IP address, device or browser information, request times, and connection activity. The website requests Live365 song information and displays its recently played player; these connections can occur before you press Listen. Album artwork may load from external image hosts. Live365 may provide the station with listening statistics, approximate location, device type, session duration, and a pseudonymous listener identifier.
Audio shout-outs
The microphone is used when you choose to record and grant permission. Before sending, you can preview or discard a recording. Unsent website recordings remain in the current page; app recordings are stored locally until discarded or successfully submitted. Sending uploads up to 60 seconds of audio, an optional name and note, a submission identifier, recording duration, submission time, and your broadcast-consent record. We also record the review status and reviewer information.
Recordings initially go to a restricted station inbox. Authorized station personnel may listen, download, and review them. If you grant broadcast permission, we may edit and broadcast your recording. Your voice and information spoken in it may then become public. Do not include information you do not want listeners to hear or other people’s information without permission. Nothing airs automatically.
Preferences and notifications
Player appearance and app settings, including language and notification-topic choices, are stored on your device. The independent app currently saves notification choices locally; its remote station-alert service is not active. These controls do not currently enroll your device with Firebase. We will update this policy before activating that service and collecting listener delivery tokens. Push permission is optional and is separate from permission to record audio. Push notifications are not SMS messages.
Reports, contact, and station administration
Advertising reports contain the campaign identifier, selected reason, and time. When you email us, we receive your address and message. To limit abusive submissions, our server uses the connecting IP address to create a salted hash and maintains dated request counts. Private owner sign-in uses identity information supplied by a third-party authentication service to check access. Station administration records include campaign content, owner identity, and notification draft or send-attempt history.
Retention and security
Submitted recordings and their review records do not currently have an automatic deletion deadline. They remain stored until manually removed; approving or rejecting a recording does not delete it. Broadcast selections and downloaded production copies may be retained for station programming and associated consent records. Contact correspondence, reports, and administrative records are retained for handling requests, station operations, disputes, and applicable recordkeeping needs. You can request deletion using the contact below.
Older abuse-limit counters are removed when subsequent successful submissions trigger cleanup; they are not erased by a scheduled daily job. Service providers maintain their own operational-log and backup retention. Clearing your browser or uninstalling the app does not delete information already sent to WRR.
We use HTTPS and restrict inbox and administrative access. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Providers may process data in the United States and other countries where they operate.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can listen without submitting a recording, leave optional fields blank, discard an unsent recording, revoke microphone or notification permission in device settings, and clear local website preferences through your browser. Blocking third-party content may affect playback or song information.
Email us to request access, correction, or deletion of information we hold, or to withdraw permission for future use of a recording. Include an approximate submission date and enough detail to locate it; do not send sensitive identity documents unless we arrange a necessary verification step. We may ask for proportionate verification and will handle requests under applicable law. Any lawful retention exception will be explained. Removing material we control cannot undo a past broadcast or remove copies independently made by listeners.
Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to object to or restrict processing, request portability, withdraw consent, or complain to your local data-protection authority. Listening currently requires no WRR listener account, so there is no listener account to delete.
Children
The recording and submission features are not intended for children under 13. Please do not submit a child’s personal information. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate.
Policy updates
We will post changes here with a revised effective date. New features that change data collection will be reflected in this notice, with additional notice or consent where required.
